Cynthia Ward, retired life-long beautician, active promoter of racial justice and staunch Chicago south-sider, is preceded in death by eleven siblings, the last member in the Ward family in her generation to pass. She leaves behind a loving family including one brother-in-law, nineteen nieces and nephews, twenty grandnieces and nephews and ten great- grandnieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Cage Memorial Chapel, 7651 S Jeffrey Blvd. Memorial services will be held, 2:00-4:00pm, Saturday May 14th in honor of her life.
